PERMANEMENT COSMETICS INFORMATION

Permanent cosmetic makeup is also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing. The process is similar to a tattoo because the cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the epidermis and upper layers of the dermis by using very fine, in line needles. The needles are dipped into natural shades of pigment and then softly tapped into the skin.

There are two techniques used for micropigmentation. SofTap and Microblading. These procedures are artistically applied by hand and not a tattoo gun. These techniques are also 100% sterile. The hand tools and products are used on you once and then thrown away.
-SofTap is also known as the hand method. A small hand tool is used to implant the pigment. This technique is used for lash enhancement, eyeliner, brows, lips, scar camouflage, and areola restoration. With this method one can achieve brows that are soft and light, that looks similar to a soft powder fill or have brows that are dramatic, similar to a solid fill. This technique is the most natural looking permanent makeup available today. These pigments are very soft natural shades and will not leave you with gray or blue makeup.
-Microblading is a technique used to draw fine hairs into the brow.

Everyone who desires a soft and natural enhancement to their appearance. It is especially beneficial to people who can’t wear cosmetics due to allergies and skin sensitivities, and for people with facial asymmetries.

These procedures are considered permanent because pigment is tattooed into the upper reticular part of the dermis and cannot be washed off. However, as with any tattoo or colorant (pigment) in general, fading can and often does occur, requiring periodic maintenance referred to as a touch-up or color refreshment. Longevity varies from person to person depending on their lifestyle (sun exposure), the colors used, and saturation of those colors. For example, someone with blond eyebrows has a lighter pigment, and usually less pigment compared to brunette brows, therefore blond brows are going to fade faster than brunette brows.

Following the aftercare instructions is very important to avoid ruining your results. After care is very specific. We will go over them in detail during your appointment, and you will also be sent home with an instructions card.
